The young boys started their journey tinkering with nothing but an off the shelf drone FPV! The goal was steel-engraved in their minds and they would do anything to dissect the surveillance tools around them (even if that meant tearing a drone down for child safety-many few youngsters think this way :)
In the initial stages they diverged on different security technologies and realized that IP monitoring solutions for home security were an ideal ice breaker (much better than FPV in terms of remote-view flexibilities)
They burned some code patches on WiFi modem SOCs and broadcasted the feed within their vicinity
This was their first breakthrough in terms of distance viewability
After the lads got confidence on remote feasibilities they dug deep into beyond-range wireless networks such as LTE/5G/4G
They drafted charts on the CAT types and further noted the rates offered by each
After intensive prototyping on streaming servers they concluded that a reasonable Mbps upload rate would be sufficient and viable
Apart from building their own servers they also used Youtube channel links as broadcasting medium to pass the upload rate confirmation and quality checks
They studied carefully the cell tower networks! How cell-phones with data-plans operate for call/text and internet accessibilities
They learned about carrier switching and monetizing on hyper sims with network flexibilities
After prototyping on large boards- they finally were able to miniaturize to a lightweight PCB which would be embedded in their visionary headband to secure every child in the coming times!
Their journey has just begun and they take great pleasure in opening the windows to their exciting roadmap herein...
